Next Generation Travel is not just another travel agency. While they do provide all the basics you’d expect from a travel or tour company, NGT takes an innovative, holistic approach to travel in the 21st century. They work primarily with companies, planning business trips down to the last detail and
keeping everything running smoothly so employees can simply relax and focus on their work.

What value do you bring to your clients?

We help companies expand and enable them to be in the right place at the right time. We work mostly with hi-tech companies, and their needs are very specific and subject to constant change. Sometimes we help with the regular flow of employees who need to meet clients abroad or clients who need to be brought to Israel, and sometimes with specific one-time events, such as conventions or exhibitions.
We take care of every last detail of our clients’ trips. We first clarify their needs, how they like to travel, what airlines they prefer, what kind of hotels they prefer to stay in, etc. Additionally, we make ourselves available to our clients, proactively solving unexpected problems. Our clients know they can focus on their work and not have to worry about everything else.

What’s the advantage of calling you over simply booking trips online?
In the modern world, most people believe they can take care of themselves. The Internet provides all the tools you need to plan a trip and all the related services. However, there are many obstacles in the world of tourism, and if you don’t know how to avoid them, you may encounter some unpleasant surprises.

We prefer to be directly in touch with our clients and plan the tour on a case-by-case basis, so we can provide custom service. Additionally, in 95% of cases, we are able to find better prices than you can
find online.
We are aware that tourism needs to keep up with the times. That’s why we offer our customers the option to control their plans; you can book flights on our app, and make hotel reservations both on our app
and on our website.

In your experience, do travelers usually know what they want or do they decide according to whatever you offer?
Usually, travelers know what they want, or at least have a general idea. Many of our clients call to consult with us and choose the products that best meet their requirements.
In the past few years, more and more travelers have approached us after exhaustive research with a fully-formed plan in mind. And here’s where our professional expertise comes into play: we know how to avoid pitfalls, to read the fine print and then we make recommendations based on our experience.

What is your favorite package?
We have no such thing! We don’t provide standard, preplanned packages. We build individualized plans for each customer.

What was your most challenging itinerary?
The most challenging itinerary to plan is the next one—a trip to a destination we haven’t worked with before! But we’re always up for the challenge. We learn everything possible about the new destination,
tailor everything to the client’s requests, and in the end, give the client the best possible product!

What are the challenges involved in planning seminars in other countries?
There are a number of aspects involved in planning a seminar or business event. Of course, there’s logistics, which are not that problematic and are basically the same all over the world. There is also a
need to coordinate all the local providers (hotels, restaurants, transportation, technical
equipment…). The most challenging thing is getting everything synchronized perfectly so the clients’ experiences are completely seamless.

What types of businesses have approached you to put together seminars, and how did they hear about you?
Most of our business clients are hi-tech companies, usually small or mid-sized, which don’t have the capacity for an inhouse travel agency. We work with Israeli companies, of course, but also with European
companies (French, Swiss, British, Italian…) as well as companies in the USA, Canada and Brazil. We don’t do a lot of marketing; most of our clients find us by word of mouth.

Can you give us three tips for a stress-free trip?
Always make sure that your passport does not expire until at least six months after your return. It’s better to work with products that are flexible and can be changed as much as possible—it may be more expensive initially, but it can save you a lot of cost and headache later.
It’s always preferable to work with an agent; that way, you always have someone to turn to.

What if despite meticulous planning something goes wrong?
We’re available round-the-clock to help, and we have an emergency hotline that’s available at all times for urgent situations.
